My main goal in participating in social media is to engage in other people's online communities and not to exclusively blast out messages and marketing related to my sales business.
Of course I use Facebook, Twitter and YouTube to help my customers promote homes listed for sale and to attract potential new clients to my sphere.
However, what I find most fascinating is when I can learn and benefit from other people's interests. So I try to engage with people that are bringing quality and improvement in life to those around them. People that are engaged in charitable works, fundraising, involving kids in athletics, promoting sustainability and health, a balanced economy; these are the people I find most interesting. Here you will find comments on real estate related topics and most importantly for consumers, an introduction to what I feel are my engaging and what I've been told are sometimes controversial listing reviews. Controversial perhaps because you'll be hard pressed to find real estate agents reviewing the quality of listings.
